The Necessity Drive: Part 2

Hey everyone! The Necessity Drive ended last month, and the winner was Ms. McCausland's advisory! They received a pizza party along with drinks of their choice! They also received the prize of knowing that they, and many others in the school, made a huge impact on the center and the kids! Overall, we received around 300 items from the drive, and after the drive ended, we traveled on the following Saturday to give Mrs. Barbara all of the items. We also looked at other things Ms. Barbara needs help with, such as the room in the center she and a house next door she wanted to renovate. The room is the kids' hangout room, and Ms. Barbara bought the house to provide homeless people with a place to stay while they get back up on their feet. The room and house are not in good condition, and we have renovated the room during March. We are planning to work on the house in the future, when we have more funding.
